Well paced but not overly stimulating means my 9 month old loves it as well as my 4 and 5 year olds. That Baby CD, which is a companion to That Baby DVD, has become a fixture in my car’s CD player.
I am going to admit something here…I am in love with a DVD for babies. Seriously. I want to sit down and watch it all by myself. Which I did when I first reviewed it. But then I had to keep making sure my youngest was watching it with me on subsequent viewings so I didn’t look silly.
The track list for That Baby CD showcases the groups that created the soundtrack of my high school years: Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, 10,000 Maniacs, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen and more.
I enjoy having things in our home that cross generations and bring us together as a family, That Baby DVD & CD are just that type of product – classic.
This ranks high on my list of things all mothers should have.
I am going to admit something here that I can’t believe I’m going to admit. I am in love with a DVD for babies. Seriously. I want to sit down and watch it all by myself. The DVD made my girls get up and dance and unlike many kid videos, this one kept their attention and made them want to move!
I love the songs so much that I even play the CD even without the toddler on board! I’m amazed at how the songs soothe my senses and almost make me forget about the traffic jam outside.
I don’t know what the magic is, but you certainly have it. Thanks for another wonderful DVD that we can feel good about having our daughter watching.
Of all the products I’ve reviewed with Parent Bloggers Network, this is by far one of our favorites. In short, it’s a breath of fresh air when compared to some other music DVDs.
That Baby CD is in the car and, yes, I’ve listened to it when my child wasn’t present.
The CD? Perfect for car trips and includes three more songs than the DVD. I strongly suggest buying both. Nick wanted to watch the entire video, all the way through the credits.
But what do YOU think?
